TB2 is a 1 MW IT load facility in Navi Mumbai, live, and an ANSI/TIA-942-B Level 3 Constructed Facility. The certification is the whole point of this page, because it is a rare thing in this registry: it certifies the building as constructed, not the design drawings. Twenty-five records in this file claim a Tier standard that means nothing about what was actually built. TB2’s claim is narrower and stronger. Everything else about the building — floor area, racks, commissioning date, PUE — is unpublished, and this page declines to guess.

2Designed versus constructed
| Type | What it certifies | Where it appears in this registry |
|---|---|---|
| Tier III-designed | Drawings and intent | Iron Mountain MUM-1, MUM-2, HYD-1; CapitaLand |
| Tier IV designed | Fault-tolerant topology on paper | Yotta NM1 design phase |
| Tier IV certified | The constructed facility | Yotta NM1 |
| Gold TCOS | Operational sustainability in service | Yotta NM1 only |
| TIA-942-B Level 3 constructed | The built facility | Yotta TB2 only |
| IGBC Platinum | Green building, not resilience | Colt Navi Mumbai, Yotta NM1 |
| Number of records claiming Tier but not stating constructed certification | about 25 | Most of the file |
“Tier III-designed” is a statement about drawings. “Constructed facility” is a statement about a building that exists and has been inspected. The two are routinely conflated in Indian marketing, and the difference is exactly the thing a tenant is trying to buy.
TB2 at 1 MW with a constructed-facility certificate is, on a per-megawatt basis, the most rigorously evidenced facility in this registry. NM1 has the more prestigious certifications — Tier IV plus Gold operational sustainability — but it is 52 times larger.
Which is the point of this page. Certification rigour and capacity are unrelated. A dataset that ranks facilities by megawatts will never surface the most stringently certified building in the country.
Ask “is the certification on the design or the constructed facility”. Almost nobody in the Indian market will answer the second version with a yes, because constructed-facility certification requires the building to exist and be inspected.
Then ask for the certificate date and the certifying body. A design certificate from 2020 attached to a building delivered in 2024 certifies nothing about 2024.
Those two questions separate the twenty-five “Tier III-designed” claims in this file from the handful that mean something.

4Limits and open questions
- Floor area, racks, commissioning date and PUE are unpublished. None is inferred here.
- TIA-942-B Level 3 is a facility standard, not the Uptime Institute Tier scheme, and the two are not interchangeable.
- The certificate date and certifying body are not published on the operator page.
- 1 MW is IT load as stated, with no scope qualifier.
- 1 MW is counted, and it is the smallest certified record in the file.
- What would close it. The certificate date, and a rack count.
